Casa Ecoflora by SARCO Architects Costa Rica is a design for a modern home in a hillside property in Playa Flamingo, Guanacaste, Costa Rica.
The home cradles the hillside which features a significant lateral slope. The design has been thought as a vertical structure that sits on a narrow flat area in the lower pad of the property and the rest of the home grabs the hillside at the upper level, attaching itself to the rocky slope above.
The home is a modern design with large open spaces with expansive glass the open towards the north facade with ocean view towards the Flamingo Beach and Playa Potrero bay. The project is a medium-sized home of approximately 4,300sq.ft. of total construction area, including outdoor spaces and small pool. The home also has a small independent apartment on the lower level for guests or caretakers.
