We present the Taina Estate Residence, one of the new models we have created for the new Cap Limón Luxury Club Residences Resort, by Lifestyle Holidays Real Estate. The resort is located in the Samaná province on the north coast of the Dominican Republic. Cap Limón will be a completely new luxury resort developed from scratch by our firm, now featuring work as resort architects in Dominican Republic.
Taina Estate Residence is the first of several 6-bedroom luxury residences we have designed for Cap Limón. Designing the projects for an entire resort from scratch has allowed us to create designs tailored for the specific conditions of the natural terrain in the site. As we do not believe in “cutting pads” to build homes, our philosophy is to create the minimum possible intrusion in the natural conditions, and this means designing for the land. Taina’s design is created specifically for some homesites in the resort that are located in uphill sites with stunning ocean views back over the access.
Luxury Resort Residence Design by Sarco Architects in Dominican Republic
Taína Estate Residence has been designed as a series of modules that can have the capacity to “pivot” as the home is situated on one site or another. The home’s long design and short distance front to back allow the home to be built tucked up into some steep slopes, and the pivoting action of the wings allow it to “hug” the shape of the land.
One wing of the home houses the twin master and guest master bedrooms suites with ample room, spacious baths and lots of outdoor space to enjoy and relax. The dual master bedrooms at Taina Estate Residence feature an open-plan master bath concept with floor-to-ceiling glass to enjoy the Caribbean ocean views from the comfort of a relaxing hot tub.
Taina Estate Residence is an upside-down home design, where all of the main social areas of the home are located on the upper level. We have implemented this design strategy in order to provide for and improve the home’s privacy via vertical elevation. Next to the swimming pool, also located on the upper level, Taina features an outcropping bridge that cantilevers out from the main structure, allowing for space to lounge and have some drinks while watching the sunset.
Overall, Taina Estate Residence features the before mentioned twin master bedroom suites, plus 4 additional guest rooms, all with ocean views. Additionally, the home features a media room, expansive living areas with a private bar.
The outdoor area has plenty of space for outdoor cooking, provided for the enjoyment of the in-house chef service, one of the trademarks of the new Chairmans Circle Elite, the highest level membership at Lifestyle Holidays Vacation Club, created for the Cap Limón resort.

Our designs for the resort have been awarded the “5-Star Best Leisure Architecture Dominican Republic” award at the 2017 Americas Property Awards and the resort also received the “5-Star Best Leisure Development Dominican Republic” award.
